Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

This policy explains what personal information psyprod.com (“PSYPROD”) collects, why, and what you can do about it.

1. Who is responsible

psyprod.com is operated by Samy Guediche, a sole proprietor based in Tokyo, Japan, trading as PSYPROD. Our postal address will be provided without delay on request.

2. What we collect

When you use the contact form: your name, email address, the service you are interested in, any link to your music, event details and your message. Technical information such as your IP address and browser type may be recorded with your submission to protect the form from abuse.

When you apply for the DaKick beta: your name, email address, the DAW and computer you use, your operating system version, a link to your music, the styles you produce and your answers to the application questions.

When you visit the site: we use Burst Statistics, an analytics tool that runs on our own server, to count page visits and understand which pages are useful. It records information such as the pages viewed, the referring website, and the device and browser type. This data is not shared with any third-party analytics or advertising company.

Security and logs: our hosting provider, ConoHa (Japan), automatically records technical data such as IP addresses for the operation of the server. Our security plugin also records IP addresses of suspicious activity, such as failed login attempts, to protect the site, and the site keeps a log of requests to missing or redirected pages.

Backups: we make regular backups of the website, which may include contact form submissions, so the site can be restored if something goes wrong.

3. Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies:

  • pll_language: remembers whether you are viewing the English or Japanese site
  • burst_uid: lets our analytics recognise a returning visitor anonymously
  • WordPress login cookies: only for site administrators

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies from third parties. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

4. Why we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and send you a quote
  • To review DaKick beta applications, select testers, send the beta and contact you about DaKick
  • To provide the mixing, mastering, consulting, lesson or booking services you request
  • To keep records required by law, such as invoices
  • To keep the site secure and improve its content

5. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers we need to run the site and the business, such as our hosting provider, our email provider and the storage used for backups, or when required by law.

6. International transfers

Our website is hosted in Japan. If you contact us from outside Japan, your information will be transferred to and processed in Japan. Our email provider, and any service used to store backups, may keep data on servers in other countries.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related emails only as long as needed to handle your request and any work that follows, and longer only where the law requires it (for example, accounting records). Analytics data is kept in a form that does not identify you.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, and to correct, delete or stop using it. If you are in the EU, the UK or Switzerland, you also have the rights given by your local data protection law, including the right to object and to complain to your data protection authority. In Japan, you can contact the Personal Information Protection Commission.

To make a request, use the contact form and choose “Other”. We will reply without undue delay.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including keeping the site and its software up to date and limiting access to submitted data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
